All shipments are made from the United Kingdom. Littlechef-Bigchef uses a combination of surface mail, and couriers as appropriate. Most orders will be sent via Royal Mail first class post. Occasionally, if you have a large order, it may be necessary to send it via Standard Parcel Force. Postage costs are £3.95, no matter how big your order, unless it's over £50 where we offer free delivery. If you need your order in a hurry, we offer a Next Day "Express Delivery" service for £6.50. You must place order before 1pm ( Monday to Friday) for the "Express Delivery", otherwise your order will be sent following day. Any orders after 1pm Friday will be dispatched on a Monday. We will always do our very best to get your order to you as soon as possible, however we cannot be held responsible if Royal Mail/couriers do not meet said deadlines. If anything is unavailable, we will let you know as soon as we can.
Our aim is to deliver all orders within 48 hours after your payment has cleared. The actual delivery time can depend on destination and the carrier used. If you need something urgently, please enter this in the comments section or call the office on 0208-255-1557 and we will advise if this is possible or not and the additional shipping charges.
If you wish to ship to outside the UK, please choose credit card as a payment option. Once the order is packed and weighed, we will bill your card to include accurate shipping charges. If the order is being shipped to Europe, we will normally choose Airmail Small Packet service.
Please note that you are responsible for any customs duties or additional local sales taxes. This will not normally apply to destinations within the European Union.
We are sure you will be happy with your order, however, if you are not satisfied with your purchase please return it in good condition and in original packaging within 7 days of receipt and we will refund you. If any of your items arrive damaged or broken we must be notified of this within 48 hours of receipt so we can take this up with the delivery agent concerned and arrange a replacement or a refund. Unfortunately we are unable to replace or refund any items reported damaged after this time.
Please note, however, when sending a return, the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us; we strongly recommend that you send it registered post. Once the parcel has been received we will issue a refund providing it is returned in it's original packing with all stickers in place and in a suitable condition for immediate resale. We regret that Postage and Packing cannot be refunded. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If we send you the incorrect item by mistake and you return the item to us we will refund postage based on first class mail rate.
